I will soon be changing the current cab radi/tape player to radio/CD.

In order to use it when parked I would like the 12v supply to come from the leisure batteres under the floor.

At pesent I cannot think of a supply from those batteries which runs forward/upwards from which we could off-take a feed to the radio.

Has anyone done this on a similar era Arto, or can anyone think of a supply that maybe I have missed?

Thanks in advance.

When I fitted a stereo in my Hymer I ran new cables back a fused output that was permantly live on my EBL (will be a CBE unit on yours).

Are you having a simple on/off switch to turn the radio on? On ours I powered the new radio from the Hab batteries, but via a relay sensed when the ignition was on (don't forget you need two positives to a modern radio, one being permanent to keep the memory and the other a sense wire to tell the radio to turn on or off). Therefore the radio was taking all it's power from the Hab battery, but came on with the ignition.

I also added a delay circuit which, via a simple momentary push switch, gives me 45 minutes of radio playing without the ignition being on. The extendable 45 minutes does prevent me leaving the radio playing for hours and hours unattended to drain the Hab batteries.
