not sure if it only applies to newer members, but some people, OP included, seem to chose not to show where they live on their details, that would normally give a clue to where they are

The site’s banner adverts? Yes, I see what you mean.
There’s certainly no clue on the ads but hopefully more location info if the link is clicked.

At 1st read I thought you could mean this site’s classifieds - but they do have big clues to location.

Just been for a look at the ads in classified, the user profile is displayed differently

But if you scroll down the page a map appears showing where the item lives

that might of course only apply to users who have declared where they live, haven't got time to check all the ads, the three I did all have maps

Location is a required field when posting a classified ad (I don't think it relies on the user's profile location), so they should all have a location listed.

Every time I look it has a google map with an approximation of location not * I know where you live!* I know the area where it may be bought from is better!

As above....Not sure what part of the map you cannot work out but...It does give you a really good idea of its whereabouts!
