Rattling Heki Rooflight - installing the foam gasket (1 Viewer)

I have installed additional vents in my motorhome so that I can install the closed foam gasket into my Heki rooflight. I have the gasket but it clearly need to be stuck in place. I'm not sure if a double sided tape would be strong enough for the job so I am considering adhesive.

Hopefully a Funsters has installed the gasket to stop rattling and, if so, can let me know what they used.

hmm yes i was thinking double sided carpet tape - that sticks to pretty much anything
