Our Rapido has the drop down bed and built into it are little led lights, fine for lighting in an evening when parked up.
What Im struggling with is any light when stopping with engine running at say tolls etc to be able to see in the dark while I rummage through change or whatever, like a normal cab light you could have.

I thought that maybe there was a switch somewhere that could activate the little leds that would in effect replace the cab light but cant see anything.

Is this quite usual on the rapido or A class drop down beds in general?

how did anyone else get round this issue

on our rapido the switch is by the roller blinds switches, to of windscreen in the centre

Our Rapido10001 has overhead lights fitted into the drop-down bed and has switches for both the lights and the electrical drop down windscreen blind also fitted to the bed.
It may be possible to retro fit similar switches, if you need any pictures I can post them

The cab light switch maybe on the nearside away from the driver and above the passenger as it was designed for a left hand drive vehicle?
