Hi can anyone help me with this please. I have a Rapido A class 9048. Right when I thought I had worked my way through all the faults I have had with this van, I now have water dripping onto the dash from the join between the fiberglass shell and the windscreen via the top rubber trim/seal. What I would like to know is what is the actual construction of the roof area immediately above the cab, not the overall van body itself. I am concerned that there maybe build components that could have been affected by water and this must have been going on for some time but been disguised by another leak from a rooflight very nearby. I appreciate that it maybe a case of just injecting some mastic and re sealing to fix it, but want to be clear there is has been no detriment to the construction

Many thanks

I suggest you get some ventilation around the unit and then see if there is improvement and make a expensive decision after that.good luck.

Thanks for that. I found out that its solid fiber glass so nothing to rot or rust etc, and that the screen just needs re sealing from outside. Its a rubber sealed screen and not bonded apparantly. Heres the problem...

I can't work out why it's only just manifested itself, but I don't think it can do any damage to the van's cab body once it's been resealed.

Unless someone here has a different view??

It didn't do my blood pressure any good though.
