Rapido 962m door problem

Hi we have a 2003 Mercedes 962M Rapido the habitational door will not open from the inside but will from the outside if you give it a good thud from your knee it will open sometimes
Any idea what the problem is and how do you get inner door panel off

I`v never actually had reason to try. But do you have like a rubber seal around the inner door panel?. If you have I suspect this may cover up any screws that secure the door panel?. The issue could be a broken latch spring in the lock mechanism?.

There doesn't seem to be a seal I had mobile engineer come and have a look and he couldn't find any way to remove inner panel

On my Rapido. To remove the inner plastic panel. There's a white trim around the door edges. You have to peel it back to reveal lots af small screws..

Mines an 09, but when it get light enough to see I will have a quick look.?

Had a look, as far as I can see mine has a black strip (rubber) which either covers up screws or actually hold the panel in place. I guess it has to be removed first to find out?.
