Rapido 9066DF first registered September 2010. (2011 Model) Luxury 4 berth motorhome in superb condition. Powerful and economical (28mpg) Fiat 2.3 150bhp (Euro 4) engine with six speed gearbox. The Rapido dimensions are: length 7.39m width 2.34m height 2.86m.

£37,750.00

The 9066DF is exceptionally comfortable and like most Rapido’s beautifully appointed; it has a double floor, which gives massive storage options as well as fully winterising the motorhome. In addition the vehicle has a huge amount of fitted extras.

Historically we have owned three motorhomes two Rapido's and one Hymer. Having had previous experience we chose this favoured rear twin single bed layout over an exceptionally large garage. We selected this layout purely for comfort and storage space and storage space it has in bucket loads. You will see from the description below there has been no expense spared with all of the additions added to this A Class motorhome. We specifically tailored our 9066DF for touring abroad, 2/3 months at a time Spain and Portugal in the winter and France and Italy in late summer. This motorhome new with all of the additions would cost well in excess of £85,000.00 The Rapido has been meticulously serviced mechanically and I have ensured it has received an oil and filter change circa every 8,000 miles largely because my Dad taught me to change oil often in the 60's, how barking is that! With regards to habitation it had its full habitation check last month (April) with no problems or advisories whatsoever; everything works flawlessly.

The rear garage is massive, there are also external side lockers on either side of the vehicle and storage runs underneath the whole floor, this runs one side to the other which is ideal for storing winter sports gear.

General description:

Spacious front continental lounge with adjustable table, above is large drop-down double bed. The latest 18” Avtex television is fitted within a overhead cupboard and pulls out on an adjustable arm, generous kitchen area with twin sinks, full Rapido cooker, grill and three burner hob with extractor, large fridge with separate freezer. Toilet and washroom opposite of which is a generously sized separate shower. In the rear bedroom is a wardrobe with auto light, storage drawers and twin single reclining beds with shelving and storage cabinets above; the rear single beds can also be converted to a massive double bed. It’s worth mentioning all beds have comfortable proprietary foam mattresses. The rear bedroom, toilet and shower area can be closed off for privacy. Fire extinguisher, fire-blanket, smoke detector are present and LED lighting is fitted throughout. Blackout blinds and fly screens are present on all windows and main habitation door. In the front two comfortable large swivel captain seats, cab air conditioning, Pioneer front sound system with integrated reversing camera/DVD player, electric window. 4 belted seats. It is a superb drive and handles exceptionally well for either long or short journeys. It has Truma warm air central heating throughout, including the garage area. A supplementary Webasto diesel heater is also plumbed into the warm air system, which has a rapid response and is invaluable if you forget to fill up your gas bottles. The Truma Combi boiler also delivers more than ample hot water whether you are showering or washing up, the Truma Combi draws its energy via gas or electric. There is a hot and cold shower point and shower unit in the rear garage, great for days on the beach or if you happen to own a dog.

USB chargers, because we all need them have been fitted throughout the motorhome two in the bedroom, four in the lounge area. These are in addition to the cab charging facilities. A full set of Rapido carpets, which we have never used also come with the vehicle.

Two previous owners; we purchased the 9066DF in 2014 with 13,000 miles on the clock. In truth the vehicle was not really used until we purchased it in August of that year. It has been a perfect vehicle for us.

We are non-smokers and have no pets.

The motorhome is ready to go. We have the original Rapido manual, individual manuals for the equipment onboard and two sets of keys. The purchasers of this Rapido will have no costly accessories to buy and have installed, they all come within the price.

These are listed below.

· Teleco self-seeking automatic 85cm Satellite Dish

· Avtex 18” TV with integral satellite decoder

· Omnistor 4.5M Awning

· 2 x 140w Solar panels

· 2 x 142ah Exide Batteries

· Automatic SOG/Thetford Toilet vent system

· Taylormade winter screens

· 2 x 11KG (21Lt) Alugas re-fillable gas bottles (German equivalent to Gaslow but a lighter system)

· Webasto Diesel Heater additional to the Truma system

· 3 additional 240v sockets

· 6 additional USB sockets

· Re-plated from 3,500KG to 3,850KG (a paper exercise which can easily be reversed back to 3,500KG if you don’t have a C1 licence).

· Professional engine re-map by Quantum for economy and an additional 20bhp

· Cobra Thatcham Cat 1 alarm system

· Pioneer Radio/CD/DVD player with integrated screen for reversing camera

Circa £8,500 - £9,000 of fitted extras

Priced at £37,750, which if I have done my research correctly should with all its accessories be the very minimum of £6K to £7K below dealer price that is if you could find one in the same condition, however I'm sure you guys on this site will put me right if you think it is priced incorrectly, the market certainly will!

It is a superb A Class motor home manufactured by the reputable market leading company Rapido; the build quality and finish is excellent.

For good order we had the cam-belt and water pump changed at 23,000 miles and a new clutch and assembly was fitted less than 8 months ago at 42,500 miles due to a slave cylinder failure contaminating the clutch plate, so there is no worry about those key components failing going forward.

This motorhome has only covered 48,700 miles and is a fabulous luxury A Class in exceptional condition, exploring Europe months at a time is what it really does best.

We always look after our vehicles and equipment; I’m fairly confident interested parties will not be able to find a better example of a Rapido 9066DF on the market in this condition at this price.

I'm sure the ultimate purchasers of this motorhome will not be disappointed.

I have taken a lot of detailed photographs, I can't see anyone needing more but if you do want to overdose let me know or if you have any questions just message me.

For viewing we are situated near Loughborough in Leicestershire.

Very well compiled advert. Nice van. Good Luck with the sale.

Is it worth drawing it to the attention of @Innkeeper . Looks to be the sort he is interested in?
