We are looking at buying the above Rapido just wondering if anybody has this model or any other model in regards to build quality and any good or bad points in general.

We also love ours ,had it for six years now and have no intention of swapping. It's our third van and the best.

We have 881f and are very happy with it. Had some of the usual glitches but all sorted by the dealer.

It is our first motorhome and we are very happy with the build quality but remember, as with all motorhome they all use common components which can fail! Nothing major so far.

One thing to be aware of is that they are heavy so I would be looking for weight bridge certificate before parting with any cash, to ensure you have adequate payload.

Thrilled with ours.

Build quality seems very good and substantial. It's a joy to drive. We had ours updated as payload was low. It's just a paper exercise really. Ours is a 2096 986 model.

We love ours it's a 991df our fourth van and the best, no problems other than the fridge ( problem working on gas) but that's a Dometic not a Rapido problem. We up plated ours from 3500 to 3750 so we could carry more stuff. Build quality is good, nice quality beds and upholstery ,no problems internally or externally.

The dealer tells me that the V5 states 3700kg giving an approx payload of 540kg is yours the same

Ours is an 890F so we have the Island Bed at the back. I’ve just looked at an 891F online and it looks the same layout although one of your bedroom windows looks a bit bigger. We love it. Ours is 3650 Kg and I would prefer a bit more payload but that is the upgraded weight. Generally the build quality is very good. ( we currently have a hab door handle problem which seems to be common ( see thread on this forum)but that will be fixed. Plenty of storage space and big comfy bed.

@Mr Chrysalis

Given you uprated GVW to 3650 kg what is you payload? I shall contact the dealer and double check it is 3700 kg

No we upgraded the chassis to 4250kg as we bought it new. Indeed that was one of the main reasons for buying new.

I would urge you to get an actual weight of the vehicle making sure you know how much fuel, water etc is included so you know your actual payload. You can then base any decisions on facts rather than 'likely' payload, unless of course the dealer already had a valid weighbridge certificate and his payload value is based on that!

Kerbside is 3205, gross 3650 so payload is 445kg, but that includes satellite dish, solar panel, spare wheel, TV etc

I assume it is brushed stainless steel and powered by a flux capacitor
