Can I ask for your advice. We are just about to buy a Rapido 7096DF motorhome

The dealer sent us some photos to show how it goes together but there seems to be a lot of gaps and very little solid base. It is advertised as a 4 berth but we are unsure it would take two adults on the this 'bed'. Are we being overly cautious and is this the sort of thing we should expect in all motor homes?

good choice in the rapido but we had a CI with a bed like that and could never get comfortable. I would class it as an occasional bed for the grandkids. what is the other bed like? we have an island bed at the back and a drop down double above the cab, both suitable for 2 adults but ours is an A class.
the other thing to consider is what you cant use/ get to when the bed is down, it can be a right pain if you don't all go to bed/ get up at the same time.

My Burstner second bed is no better. Its a real puzzle piecing it together and only fit for the grandkids to sleep on really.
Turning the cushions over might make it a bit better.
You need to look for a MoHo with a better second bed option if it important.

if you are going to stick with it you might want to look at a decent mattress topper to go over it. might make it more bearable. trouble is you have to store it somewhere.
