I saw this in a similar vein on a French forum.
The wheel arch covers are a pain in the Arris to get around the bed so in the bin and a new full floor either side

Just FYI
So far I spent £28 on a 8x4 sheet of 9mm exterior ply cut into 150mm strips
and £51 on a 8x4 sheet of 18mm birch ply cut into 4 to get in the car.
1 small tin of polyurethane varnish I had already, to treat the framework.

No glue or screws are used it is all made to FIT so it keeps itself in place and is removable.
It is so much better that removal wont happen and we'll have new fitted carpet throughout later this year :thumb:. Maybe something to shop for at Peterborough?

Well after day two at Bridlington CC the floors are a big hit. The blown air heating heats the new voids too before exiting the new additional vent outlets.
Wifi has been down on this site for two and a half weeks apparently which is not going to score any brownie points for the CC

Also despite me saying early on that it is all reversible! well it's not now as all the wood from the original wheel arch covers has been reallocated :roflmto:

First trip to France since the floor mod and I can report that it happily supported €350 of booze with space to spare :thumb:
As we go back in 8 weeks there was no need to push the boat out :ROFLMAO:

A thread bump.
Very many new members since I did this so here's some inspiration.
One of the most effective improvements I've done and used daily so we now take it for granted as though Rapido did it NOT

Today I revised the heating by adding sections of ducting to avoid heating the underfloor area
