Much as the heading suggests.
Does anyone have a Rapido 7090 with a tow bar?
Just wondering how easy it would be to fit one

Not just sure of your model but we have the 791FF and there is no way I could add the extra weight of a towbar and stay legal even though it has been up=rated to 3850Kg

Thanks, but the question was not about the weight but whether it was possible to fit one and if so how easy is it?

I have a 10001 tag, I should imagine it will be similar..

And does not look much like a diy type thing...

But I suppose it depends how good you are a jiggling thing`s...

7090 is a lot of steel as the chassis ends before the garage and thus has a long way to go before having anything to attach to. Consequently it is also a heavy beast.

yes it is possible I was to quoted around £500 for bespoke tow bar(no off the shelf made ) but decided against it and bought a scooter and carry in the garage ours is 7097f model

Yes it is possible, in fact thee is a 7090 not far from me with a tow bar.
It's a big heavy lump of metal though.

Thanks for the replies.
Yep, I realise it will be a bit of a heavy lump, but if I'm towing a trailer then I can transfere the heaveir things in the van, (such as Lin), into the trailer.
No problermo
