Hello all you Funsters - I hope you can give some advice.

I have a 2006 7009f which has developed a water leak from the Truma water heater (C series). My engineers had to remove the heater to see where the leak was & have now confirmed that it can’t be repaired. The C series heater is no longer available so a relatively straightforward replacement is not on. I am awaiting feedback from my engineer as to how to proceed.

My research has led me towards the Truma Combi 4 E although I’m not sure if it will fit in the space.

Anyone had to update a heater on a 7099f or any advice please.

Thanks in advance George.

I hope you get this sorted out . What did the engineer tell you with regards to why the leak can’t be repaired ? 👍🏻

Hi Swifter & thanks for your reply- the heater is leaking in two places & would require welding which on such an old model they couldn’t really guarantee - also any future problems would be a problem as spare parts are no longer available. I have spoken with Truma & the C series has not been made since 2007 hence my replacement search. Thanks George
