RAF & Spitfire / Hurricane Museum, Ramsgate (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I am considering taking a group to these adjacent museums at Marston (ex Kent International Airport). Can anyone give any comments, please?

Do you mean 'Manston'?

If so, I went there last year, it was ok, not very big but lots to see, and a nice tea room/café.

Thanks for the correction @Les from Suffolk . I don't know how that happened as the "r" and the "n" are a long way apart on the keyboard - even a French one.

I didn't think it was large, just wondered about the number of exhibits in each one.

I remember there was a Spitfire on display as well as a Hurricane, some vehicles too, lots of memorabilia etc, uniforms weapons and stuff.

We were in the area at the time (it was March this year), and thought it was a good half day out.

Thanks @Les from Suffolk. I am trying to organise a tour of Kent for June of next year for up to 15 motorhomes and was wondering about including the two museums on the trip. Alternatively, I could just give the the GPS co-ords so they can visit if they wish on one of the "free" days I will be planning in.
