Radio Codes - A tip of you are stuck (1 Viewer)

I had a job done on my Ford car. The battery was disconnected and of course a code was required.

Time to get the trusty manual out and discover that my code is 6728 - this is going to be easy.

The instructions were unfathomable and wrong. This is what worked

Preset 1, press this 6 times
Preset 2, press this 7 times
Preset 3, press this twice
Preset 4, press this 8 times
Preset 5, press this once
If you didn't know to press preset 5 you could wander about the buttons pressing on/off/menu/am/fm or anything that looked like it just might work.

Now that you know my code please don't nick my radio - nick the whole car by all means.

I, to my shame, once believed a guy who told me to stick the radio in the fridge overnight. I did and guess what? It did not work so I had to get someone to clear it for me. Compliments of the season to all
