Hi

We have a Fiat Ducato base vehicle and the various radiators at the front have a lot of bugs stuck in them.

Can anyone recommend a mesh or something we can put in front to stop the bugs but not the air?

Thanks

Rob

Yes but you could argue that radiators covered in bugs could have the same effect i.e. blocking the air.

It would take far too many bugs to make any difference. Spray them with the water hose if you feel the need. Have you looked at the route of the engine air intake? - if you need a worry, there is fix.

To be effective any mesh would need to need to have smaller holes than the radiator (and the bugs). Even when clean it would have a deamatic effect on airflow.

I'm guessing those bugs accumulated on the rad a while ago. Or abroad.

Lack of flying bugs is especially noticeable on England's roads these past 2 summers. That should be the worry.

There was me thinking that every bug gets a better chance of not being squoted by our slowish driven moho,s, suppose its the the old adage that only the strong or fastest survive. Its low flying pheasants that do the real expensive damage, cost me new grill & headlights in the past.

Been moho’ing for a time now
I put Ali mesh behind the Hymer logo, and the same mesh at the bottom, not for the insect etc, but for bigger debris, stones etc
