Not sure how this works in the new format.
If I click on "Quote" I see that it has been added to "Multi Quote" but I can't see it in the post I am about to make in that particular thread.
Jim , could you please explain.

Do I understand correctly that if it has been added to multiquote there must be another "quote" already in the "quote buffer" but I can't see it, is there anyway of viewing what's in there.

Incidentally, clicking preview does not show me the "quote" onlt the text I have entered to succeed it?

TIA

Just click the "Quote" option with the arrow on it on the post you wish to quote and it will set the quote in a reply window for you to then add your comments below.

You need to use the quote on the right hand side with the little arrow and not the “+ quote”

Dun no, never bother trying it. I'm sure we will be enlightened on it's use in a bit. :winky:

That's the multiquote.

It saves them up for you while you're reading through a thread.

You then have to remember what you were going to say when you saved them!

I though it must be something like that, I was uneasy about posting , becuse I could not remember what the first bit was that I had "stored". It was from a completely different tharead and would not have made sense.

I guess I must try it and see what happens..............
