Quiet site on Lleyn Peninsula (1 Viewer)

Can anyone recommend a quiet campsite on the Lleyn Peninsula for this weekend for a small motorhome.

Caravan Club has a nice site near Porthmadog, which is pretty close to the Lleyn Peninsula. You maight also want to try Shell Island, a little tidal island campsite near Harlech, also easy distance of Lleyn Peninsula. Places like Abersoch on the Lleyn are full of Manchester bankers and stockbrokers and I can't think of a site near the farthest town on the Lleyn, little place called Nefyn, but there are bound to be a few Certified locations.

If you keep going right to the end of the peninsula, through Aberdaron, just before the cattlegrid that leads on to the headland at Uwchmynydd there's a lovely quiet site. There are no facilities apart from a loo and shower block but it's in a great location opposite Bardsey Island. If you need more facilities there are a couple of sites on the road out of Aberdaron, a mile or so before the one I've described.

Unfortunately we had left home when you sent the e-mail.
We found a small c&cc cl about 4 miles from Abadaron owned by an eccentic but friendly man!
It was within walking distance of Whistling Sands beach.
