I know it's been discussed before but:

Just recommend what you would buy now!

Thanks

I'm quite happy with my Garmin 760. The cheapo Chinese ones work pretty well, if you're happy with pirated software - I'm not, so stopped using mine once it was clear the software on it was stolen.

Thanks for all your responses. Have been looking at the Snooper Ventura, but some reviews a bit yuk! Thought I'd get some Funsters views...... Must admit my android phone came up trumps when the Garmin we bought for a french road trip last year got us into trouble a couple of times, so resorted to my phone which was great. Just thought if it needs recharging cd be a problem.....

I'm with co pilot. Works better than Garmin. As I drive a 7.5 t lorry as part of my work I find co pilot routes better than the works Garmin.(y)

Had the caravan club snooper venturer for five years used it in France,England,Wales,Scotland and Southern Ireland with absolutely no issues .because its getting on a bit now I bought the Aguri rv700 because of its provenance with the originators of the snooper and am delighted with it. .

Dumped my Chinese xcody 708 supposed to be motorhome specific .was rubbish tried to take me down little farm tracks no matter what I programmed into it .and I am no stranger to sat navs having had the use of them for many years so do have a fair idea of what to expect....so its sat in the loft somewhere, when I get around to it it will go to a good cause.lol

Camping Caravaning now 5'ering 49 years
Snooper Ventura with campsites and lots of other info - traffic info etc. Used it all over the place and found it very good. bought a later updated snooper and not overly impressed so bought new maps etc for the original snooper for less than £50 all my own points kept plus stacks of new ones. Better notifications - really impressed

I'm a Snooper user with the big screen which is so worthwhile in a MH where the screen is farther away than in a car. Also loads of campsite and aire information on it.

If you use a iPhone and Google surely you have a live data feed consuming your data allowance which is presumably not economic when abroad? Also its a very small screen!
