Posted this on another thread but thought it could help with its own thread

Wish I'd taken photos - it was so easy, took less than an hour.

Watched a few Youtube videos where everyone removed the fridge - I didn't...

I could hear the fridge sparking but would not light.

Took off the lower vent on the side of van, unscrewed the burner assembly cover (1 self tapper) and moved it out the way, unscrewed the burner assembly itself with thermocouple and igniter still attached (1 threaded screw)

Disconnected the gas, pulled it slightly out of the van, and just kept tapping the whole assembly lightly with a spanner, turning it round, knocking all the crud out.

Re-assembled - and it works ! - well chuffed !

Next time I might have an aerosol of compressed air handy, but didn't need it this time

Funny, I had exactly the same thing happen to our fridge today... Got to the Aire, went to switch it over to gas, wouldn't light, just kept clicking and then showing the error light.

Did pretty much the same as you've outlined, except I didn't fully remove the burner, I just tapped and hoovered it out! Tried relighting it, hey presto, lit on the first click!

I'm figuring that driving down the unusually bumpy French roads we were on today dislodged some rubbish onto the burner, I'll clean the flue when I get a moment in the next few days.
