Questions on new Kingham

we have two small dogs. If they decide they want a wee in the night what’s easier than putting a dressing gown on and to go for a shower.
Our dressing gowns are big and fluffy so no room for them in our storage. Everything has to be multipurpose so outside doggy visits have to be done by throwing on a coat over pyjamas and hoping it is dark 😃

Train the dogs to go in the shower, just don't stand in it when
you have your shower.

You can't say something like that and not put photos on ... of the dogs I hasten to add! :giggle:

Hello everyone, new to site and took delivery of a Kingham yesterday. Bought through a broker so not much back up! A few questions I would like answers to. There is a tv bracket on side of wardrobe overlooking the bed. I have my 19 inch tv up and now I cannot lift up the end of bed to access storage? I was told, if I push the bed back so the end raises, I will not be able to lift the storage end up. Is there an answer?
You can buy a bracket to make the TV removable, one part is attached to the existing arm and the other to the rear of the TV, about £15 quid from memory.

on the bed, what bedding do you use. A double looks too big and a single too small. How do you get a sheet on🤔?
Fitted double sheet on the bottom as it 'pulls' tight at the corners so keep it in place, if not tight enough use some securing straps made for that purpose (Ebay, Dunelm etc). We just use a normal double flat top sheet.
So know we have to watch payload unless we both try and get our C1 licences back.
Have you weighed it yet? PVCs tend to have less payload than coachbuilts due to the heavier body so you may not have the payload available that you've been told/think you have especially since the manufacturer quoted total vehicle weight figure can be up to 5% out and that extra 5% vehicle weight would reduce the payload.

Crikey, there doesn’t appear to be much under your bed🤔. We have been quite ruthless in cutting down on what we take but we have filled that storage area completely 😩. Fold up chairs, Cadac, ground sheet, cables, stakes, toilet chemical etc etc. Thank you for the info regarding carrying bikes. We let our C1 licences lapse but reckon, following a visit to the weighbridge without tow bar on, bikes, we may need to upgrade van to get a better payload.
Don’t worry, we normally have more than that in the cargo space. That photo was taken when I was installing the van swing, hence the bumper is missing as well. I am due a trip to the weighbridge to check my loaded weight. I still have my C1 and hopefully will not have to resurrect my Class 1

I note you include the tow bar weight in your calcs (If I read things right). Just to make you aware many Tow Bars have 100kg load limits BUT you can buy higher rating ones. Mine is a Westfalia/Siarr Unit rated for 150kg and comes with all design documentation and a load plate sticker. PN 30635760001 bought from Watling Engineers, not cheap (I paid 330) but good. No idea if they still make them as mine has been fitted for 4 years now. Vehicle is a BOXER 6.36 Heavy chassis. I hang 150kg of scooter carrier and Honda scooter on it. Good luck

I have one of these in our pvc, & hang it in the bathroom

What's a Hava? Hava guess??? 😄

I am not even sure what a Havanese is?
Look it up on Google. We just had our proper 🐩 and met a couple with a Havanese. I am very impulsive and ended up that evening in Kettering to look at a Havanese puppy. There were 7 in a rather unsavoury house where the occupants were Romanian. I chose mine and was then given
a Romanian passport with a story that would have could have come out of a fairy tale book.
He probably came out of a Romanian puppy farm. Thankfully, he is fit and healthy and, now 2, is hilariously funny but well behaved - the elderly🐩has taught him well and he is keeping her very young, both running like greyhounds chasing the squirrels up our local park😁.

Thank you for that. So a double duvet would hang from the outside wall almost to the floor? Do you fold it under near the wall and tuck outside under the mattress? Never heard of adjustable bed sheet clips.
In essence yes it's tucked in cosy all round

Yep but it has information that came up in a search

I bought these from Amazon to secure the sofa covers on the bench seats/beds (we have dogs) and they work perfectly.
