Northern Ireland, Scotland, North East England, North West England, Yorkshire and the Humber and Wales have been designated as high risk areas. If you have been in a designated high risk area in the two weeks prior to your arrival in Germany, you are required to proceed directly to your accommodation and quarantine for 14 days or until you can show evidence of a negative test result.

Interesting my NHS app is saying we are in a medium risk area.
Is it Germany which has designated these aras as high risk?

Easyjet require all passengers to wear 'surgical face masks'.
If you approach the departure gate with any other type of mask you will not be allowed on the aircraft.
Vending machines at Manchester Airport sell this type of mask.
Once sat on the aircraft you can remove your mask to eat or drink.

There were lots of restrictions on entry to Austria last time I looked
Could all be different again by December as suavecarve says

Yeah I think I get a refund on the ferry, if it all goes wrong. Not so sure about my accommodation though šŸ¤”

When I entered Austria over two weeks ago, I filled in a form declaration at the border entry, that I will transit without stoping; otherwise had to give a address where I will be quarantining.

Was just 10 days. Maybe with a Covid test you will get away without quarantine. In Germany you can get a test on the way in.

First stop after border, Or directed out by signs. On major crossings they have them near the border entry
