Quite a while.....though not long enough
Unsure if my mental arithmetic has gone out of the window, but something seems amiss here with the math on these Puriclean tubs.

Whilst trying to work out roughly how much to use to clean the tank, I checked and a tub of 100g Puriclean states it will clean a tank up to 90L.

I have a 400g tub, so I assume this will do 360L. Not so, the tub clearly states, it will clean a tank up to 270L.

Any idea why the calculation would differ?

Could be they are telling fibs on the small tub and the truth on the large ?

Your lucky to be able to use your Puriclean. I have brought two tubs at two different times and put them somewhere safe, never to be seen again. Next time I wanted to clean water system I brought 3kg of citric acid, couldn't misplace that.

Don’t worry about it...just chuck some in,it won’t kill you whether it’s a little too much or a little too little.
Live the dream. ;) :roflmto:

I’m so glad it’s not just me who does things like that. :)

Could be the more water there is the solution is less effective even though there's more crystals/powder.
360ltrs maybe needs 500g or 600g to maintain the same strength.

Have you tried the liquid? Far cheaper per dose and more effective
