So my current motorhome has this pull up in the centre console which is fantastic for using the satnav on our old ipad. same as this one.

However, the new motorhome doesn't have this. It does pull up, but only has a clip on the top like a clipboard and obviously will not hold an ipad :-(
So, a) Im assuming these can be swapped, the problem Im having is that the only one I can find for sale is nearly £200! Sod that.

So, has anyone got any alternatives that work for holding an ipad so I can use it for satnav while I watch out for a more reasonably priced second hand one?

There's any number of iPad holders on line that would screw or maybe stick on to it.

Yeah, Im not a fan of screwing things to dashboard trims or those sticker disc things as if they ever need removing I imagine it's near impossible.
Not totally ruling it out but would be very much a last resort.

I'm almost tempted to buy an older version and swap it out of the current motorhome but feel that's a bit unfair for the next owner.

Yeah already looked at that but none of his versions will hold an ipad :-(

Why not try contacting PaulandChrissy - he is a wiz with his 3D printer and has made allsorts of things for motorhomes.

So I see, in fact I can see a few bits that I may well buy in the near future from them!

The paper clip thingy works fine if you have a case on your tablet. Just food out the case and clip onto the top. I didn't know they had ever been any different but we have only had 2014 and 2018 models.

You can just swap them out

Four screws when you get them did on mine
