Think I may have found one in Bracknell using HGV Alliance website but still 21 miles away

There used to be one in the commercial recycling yard down the Hampton Court side of Hersham railway station ( the road has now been blocked off and you have to go through the industrial estate near the Tesco Express store turning).
Not sure if it's open to the public but always got the impression that cash talks, Good Luck!

Try your local tip/recycling place. I've noticed they weigh the rubbish collection trucks on their way in and out.

Epsom household waste disposal site had a weighbridge, it is on Blenheim Rd.
The one you mention in Bracknell is in Longshot Lane, I used to do some work with Trading Standards and this was the one we used for overweight vehicle checks. It is/was free for motorhomes if you just wanted a check without a weighbridge printout, simply drive on for gross, drive front off for rear axle and they write the weights down on a scrap of paper and you are on your way (weigh!)

No don’t need printout but they seem reluctant to do it without but should be able to do it later this week. Appreciate all the help and advice 👍

I did the Groundworks for the VOSA depot on the M25 at Leatherhead a few years back and pretty sure you can go in there and get weighed, obviously you might not get out again if overweight 😂😂

Wow didn’t know there was such a thing as portable weighing scales for vehicles! May take you up on that. Planning to take it in fully laden then shed weight if required - have a few heavier items I can jettison so probably not such a good idea to use the VOSA site 😂😂😂

Just bought the van - have added solar, underslung lpg tank and pair of Lithium leisure batteries- probably should had done the weighing and sums beforehand but figured if necessary I could lose the calor gas bottles to compensate for underslung lpg tank and the 2 lithium batteries weigh roughly same as standard battery they replace so main additional weight is the solar and invertor.
Planning a long trip starting with winter in Morroco then round Southern Europe in spring then Greece and possibly Turkey before heading back to UK for next Autumn. As complete novice I will probably be asking lots of questions on over next few weeks! - it’s so good to have this forum - have already found lots of really useful advice!

You can borrow them for a few days whilst weighing as many times as you like

£36 for weighing?? here it is 1€ certificated & with ticket & they are standalone businesses. & plenty about.
Builders merchants usually do it for nothing.

I believe a few Funsters have purchased one of these Reich Scales and are very happy with them. I have a few more essentials to buy first though.;)

That’s very generous of you how do I contact you to arrange? Are they easy to use and accurate enough just looked at link posted by Tina and some reviews suggested they may not be?

To arrange, you would need to send me a PM or private message,
Then I can give you my phone number and you can pick it up when I am working (guildford)

The accuracy is a matter of opinion for me. It has to be used correctly, if it isnt it aint going to work. I dont know the authenticity of the people who have reviewed it who say it is not accurate. For best results flat tarmac and put an equivalent piece of wood over the other wheel on the same axle and drive over it. Putting it on an uneven surface is less accurate. Now mine is either equally inaccurate all of the time or accurate, I have never taken the van to a weighbridge to check it out, but as I weigh the van fairly regularly (because I can) then I know the results are pretty dam close to what I am expecting.

It is German engineering and they continue to sell them so I suspect, out of Germanic engineering pride, they will be very reasonably made and if not accurate then they probably wouldnt sell them.
