After leving Linton Lock last Sunday we decided to go over to THE GAY DOG or THE DOG as it is now Known. Situated just of the M5 at BROUGHTON it seemed the ideal overnight stopover on our way to WALES. We arrived at about 4-30pm.Lovely village and a nice pup we asked about stopping overnight and we where told it would be £10-00p. for each van,OUT OF THE CAR PARK AND INTO A NICE LAY BYE WHERE WE HAD A PECEFUL NIGHT £10- 00p. MY ARSE. :Angry:

We told the landlord we where going to have a meal and a few beers still £10-00p.

pub in delemere charges 3.50 to stay on the field behind the pub no lecy but water and toilet emptying and the food is first class must book for meal at weekends
