Pub for food and stopover.

Hi all,

we're heading north this coming week, and looking for somewhere to stop not far from the M6 around Crewe/Newcastle under Lyme. Our wedding anniversary, so would be great to find a pub with a good menu to take the navigator to, and where we can stop in the car park so the driver can celebrate. All suggestions welcome.

Yes, thought of that, in used to have one some years ago, but looking for this coming tuesday to no time to send for it.

Google "Pubstops for Motorhomes". A few websites have lists etc. Some of the apps also can be filtered for pubstops. Facebook has a dedicated section.

Although we usually try to call ahead we've never yet had a suitable pub refuse us - as long as they had enough room of course.

There is literally hundreds, how far from M6 and in which direction? Nantwich has several but you will have to pay in most, the marina is well situated

Use Google maps/satellite to find somewhere you like and give them a call if you don't get any suggestions that work for you. Good thing with Google maps is you've got reviews and a quick link to the menu usually.
