Hi all here is a product that will stop seals around your windows and doors from sticking becoming cracked and squeaking it’s made by a company called wurth we use this in our Worksop when preparing for winter or when you have a annoying noise from the door or window it called Rubber Fit comes in a nice size bottle a bit like the one you get for shoe polish it has a small foam pad on the end just squeeze and wipe it take seconds and give a life time of no window sticking door squeaking noises torn seals

Silicon grease, the solid paste form ideally, not the spray type.

Vaseline is ok for a temp fix but it is a petroleum based product and will soften or even swell some types of seals

Just bought two 300ml tins.

Glycerine is really cheap and was recommended in our previous 2006 Hymer manual for rubber door seals.

I've used silicone spray on my car seals for years, seems to do the job.
