Yes unfortunately finances and situation dictates a change of course.

Building a compact camper in a Vauxhall Vivaro LWB and pairing this with a caravan.

Caravan will be a mobile base, and then the camper can be used for trips away, rallies and day to day use...

Not a fan of Caravans at all, but having both a small camper and a caravan gives me the best of both worlds.
A small vehicle that allows me to go anywhere with zero planning during the summer and
A large caravan to give me plenty of living space during the winter or when I am on extended stays due to work.

The small camper doesn't need such a large charger and I will be using a chinese diesel heater in it so I don't have to carry a gas cylinder.
