the first company EVER to request evidence of club membership seems to have difficulty in accepting or understanding web based clubs.
I've sent a copy of my profile, link to the fun club and informed them that MF do not operate like the traditional clubs yet are one of the major clubs - to no avail. They just keep repeating that they require evidence

has anyone else had this problem? if so, how did you get round it (other than not going with them of course - too late for that now)

not long enough
I would have expected if it is for a MHF related discount that they would only want your member number

Stavely Head insurance. it's the only insurance company ever to ask for proof in all the years Ive been r'homing or caravanning. My screenshot of membership appears not to suffice

I think they'll be looking for C&MC or CCC membership.

.some years ago this problem came up on the forum and @Jim produced a membership certificate you could download and enter your personal details before printing.
I've tried searching for it to no avail but Jim may be able to reproduce it in the resources section.

Staveley Head accepted a smartphone screen shot of my PayPal payment and I got £25 discount. Sounds like it depends on who you are dealing with.

Staveley Head wanted photographs of my ccc membership card. They wanted access to my driving license online. They wanted proof of my Strikeback certificate and proof of my no claims. A load of palaver but a great price for the insurance.

Your MotorhomeFun membership number is 45790 if that helps?

The price was bang on - hence my going with SH. I sent another screen shot of my funster 'membership card' and explained again how fun club works - must have been received by someone who accepts there's more to life than the trad clubs. I now have my insurance certificate
thanks all
Dave
