We have been in France for over a week and have not seen or been affected by any industrial action. We have not had any difficulty getting fuel.

We have travelled (slowly) from Calais via Eurodisney, and are now near Dax on the Aquitaine region.

Best diesel price so far is 1.19 Euro per litre.

Just keep rank above 1/2 and enjoy your break

Have been traveling up through france the last few days not had a problem with fuel ,all automatic fill up any ways .
But looking at the news (France 24 ,English) Catalonia as @Riverbankannie say could be a place to avoid ,I went to go through to Tortosa old town it was blocked off with a rally/protest
I recon it could get worse that way soon imo

(Earlier this year the Crotoy aire card payment machine was not working, so coins were required €7 if I remember rightly)

Just spent a week in France, travelling from Colmar via Disneyland, Amiens, and Calais, returning yesterday morning via Dunkirk. I wasn't aware that there were any problems, although I did notice one or two autoroute signs flashing up messages about unavailable fuel types. Not many though, and not all the same fuel type.

Spent the last few weeks in Northern Spain and travelled all the way up through France to Calais last Sunday. No problem with getting fuel anywhere and no hint of trouble.

John, we spent Saturday night at le Crotoy, you won't need to sit it out, there is nothing to show. Just go and enjoy your holiday. We always fill up where we can and never run more than half empty anyway. Weather wasn't that good though..
