Problem with cooker (1 Viewer)

Away on our first trip and trying to remember how everything works gas on and getting a spark to cooker but that’s all any ideas what we are doing wrong thanks

Is there an isolator turned of usualy in a cupboard close by

Are you holding the gas valve in until burner lights? You need to override the thermo couple until it sees flame.. by holding in valve

It can take awhile for the gas to reach the burner after it's been shut off.

Also do you have a crash sensor valve fitted? If so you need to press the button to set it

This may be obvious, but if abroad, you didnt have to run your gas off on the tunnel ?

Will it light with a match?
The spark electrode may need repositioning nearer to the gas jets

Do you have to keep the oven door open until the thermocouple keeps the burner alight?

As above. Will only light with door open, until a flame has started
