Problem with BT Mail on an Apple MacBook Air

Hi

I have changed the Password on my BT Email account and have had no trouble with my iPod or Apple phone reseting the Email password in the Yahoo Mail App.

I have been unable to sort out Apple Mail on my Apple MacBook Air.

I went into Mail preferences and selected the account which has worked fine. I changed the Password and Selected Save but the change is not accepted by Mail. I eventually decided to delete the account and start again. Mail refuses to accept the Email account so as a test to check if there is a problem with BT Mail I tried loading SHMBO's BT mail account and it accepted that and loaded all the messages very quickly.

The problem occurred the moment I changed the password.

Is there somewhere else in the MacBooks settings I should be looking at to sort this problem out.

I had the same problem on the iMac - in the end gave up and had to use a different mail program, which was very annoying to have to do

Well after hours of trying it has suddenly decided to accept the new password and is back working again. Hopefully tomorrow it is still okay.
