Problem with a Truma gas regulator! (1 Viewer)

I seem to have a leak from my Truma gas regulator. It seems to be coming from a small yellow plastic part on the side of the regulator. It also started just after the annual habitation check so I was wondering if there is some sort of test point that has not been closed properly. The regulator has a valve to turn off the low pressure side and I think it also has a test point but without instructions am not sure. The van is a 2019 Hobby if that helps at all.
I have tried, unsuccessfully, to find some sort of instructions for this device so am not sure if it is faulty or just misoperation.

It started as a very small leak and I wondered if I was imagining it, but is now a very definite leak. I would be grateful for any help from anyone who knows anything about gas regulators.

Short update.
Had another look at the regulator and found it was working fine, till I tapped it on the side.
The gas seems to be coming out of the yellow disk on the side of the dome of the regulator.

Is the regulator faulty or is this something else?

Faulty imo
There aren’t any user serviceable parts on that regulator type.
It’ll be a replacement part to fix your gas system.
I replaced mine and the rubber pigtail with the same Truma regulator & a steel wrapped pigtail for ~£66 from Amazon
You can save a bit more buying from elsewhere, or using another make of regulator or/and using rubber pigtails.

I bought the steel covered one as the additive’s odour is less likely to escape.

Don’t mess about. Change it.
If it leaks it is dangerous.

That is the pressure release valve, suggests there is a problem with the regulator.

Bin the regulator and buy a better, more reliable make.

The small yellow button with a hole in the side is a “tell tale” to allow gas to escape in the event of a diaphragm failure, as others get it changed soonest.

Try your dealer it should be covered under warranty.
