Problem Head unit 12ELE2000 (1 Viewer)

Ok quick scenario ..have just privately purchased a 2012 Tracker FB, but the head unit is failing to play CD,s or DVD,s . Have had the dash unit out and checked for misplaced wires etc but nothing spotted. When either disc is inserted , the message after a couple of minutes reads..." Disc error "

Now having researched these units a bit more it's become apparent they really are not too good. So where to go from here. The van has full service/ jab history but don't fancy our chances with autotrail....might need to tackle Brownhills

Will get things checked by an auto sparks....but leaning towards replacing the screen and head unit with something more up to the job.

Any suggestion on deals....types etc

Our was a problem from day 1 but it was replaced under warranty for an updated version that was, I think, 13EL2000.
That was a much better unit so if you can get one of those to replace yours you should be OK.

Hi Richard,

Wonder if it's worth a phone call to Brownhills as that where the original owne purchased it and has got full SAMs on the HAB side....but over 3 years old I don't hold a lot of hope.

You never know..........But as a £1200 plus extra what a load of rubish
