I advertised a personalised number plate JEF 11R on here a couple of days ago, and although I have had no actual replies to my advert, there have been endless responses to the pros and cons of them and so rather than ignore the massive interest there seems to be on the subject I thought it only appropriate to open a specific thread ? to enable the wider Motorhome community to contribute?

It’s seems that some funsters like the idea of the numberplate W4 NKA, perhaps there might be even more interesting and appropriate (or even inappropriate) numbers.

Have fun people........and keep smiling ??????????☺️?????

I haven’t got any but why not?

My Dad has a few with his initials and stuff.

IMHO its your cash spend it as you will!
Many moons ago i bought my wife what was then one of the new Mini's complete with personalised number plate.... bags of brownie points (y)

that number plate has subsequently been transferred to every car she has owned..

as i said, you pays your money, your choice.

only issue i sometimes think of if its too easy for others to remember the reg number.

I have one on the mh now. It used to be on my landrover which I no longer have. The mh reg was a difficult one to remember. Easier now one letter one number and my initials.

70 NKA. Is out there somewhere on an old land rover. It's showing as SORN with DVLA..
If any members are big Into land rovers maybe there are forums where it's location might be tracked down (y)

Would look lovely on a Burstner.

I nearly bought a mid 1930's Velocette.

Can't remember whether it was a KSS or KTS

But I do remember the registration had the letter's below and I think a single number.

"CUM"

I could not have ridden it - The lads at the club would have never let me live it down. ::bigsmile:

had a fiesta with UGG666R had a very enthusiastic buyer till he saw the reg, he just walked away saying hec0ouldn't have a 666 reg.
Did look into having one, but the cost was prohibitive.
We have a friend with a privat whatever plate, it means nothing to him, not his initials or anything like that now that I don't see the point of.

I've had a few, Had a Peugeot with Nitrous on it so bought N5PUG, had a BMW as a race car and my nick name is fuzz so bough BM51FUZ. Also had a historic plate on an old Landy I wish I kept but the buyer wanted it to stay with the vehicle as it was it's original plate.. just 3 number 3 letters as it was from 1955
I keep wanting to get another to keep for good but the prices goes into the stratosphere for what I want. as it's not an age related one.

Up to people if that is what they want to spend your money on but not possible here which suits me as not interested in having one

Saw a few at Carfest over the weekend

B16 KON
Was on a Kontiki I think but I read it as
