Printer won't scan (1 Viewer)

I have a HP Deskjet 1510 Printer. I have been able to scan in the past but now I get a message "the HP Deskjet 1510 series was not found"
I don't get any problem with printing.
Have tried HP Print and Scan Doctor 5.3.1. but don't seem to get anywhere.
Any advice please.

Turn off & turn on again
Re-install printer, my pc sometimes loses my wifi printer

does it photocopy from the scanner bed, if so the scanner is ok, and as said above reinstall the printer

I haven't tried it myself yet, but was talking to an architect yesterday who wanted to see a drawing I had

He told me about an app called scancam or might have been camscan, which apparently from a mobile phone looks for corners of the paper even up to A3 and creates a scan quality document

we didn't need to send it in the end so not looked or tried, but if urgent it might solve your problem

No problem with doing a photocopy.
Will try a reinstallation.

Reinstallation has solved the problem.
Just got a few cobwebs from trying to find the disc !!
