Looking to buy a pressure washer, not necessarily for the moho, but more for general stuff, cleaning concrete pathways, fences etc.

Karcher K4 Full Control gets good reviews, don't really want to spend much more than about £150-£175, any others?

Thanks.

I have the k5 full great prices on the refer site. If they have any

Aldi. I've got one of their big ones with integral reel for the hose. Excellent piece of kit. I gather its just a rebranded item. 3 year guarantee. All for about £90. Can't say fairer than that. Don't waste your money on Karcher, you are paying a premium price for a branded name and experience shows that they are no more reliable than any other.

Have had good experience with cheap basic Karcher models bought from here https://www.karcheroutlet.co.uk/ - like new & option of extending warranty from 6 months to 1 year at extra cost. Should be some good prices elsewhere online now/soon too with 2 year warranty. For cleaning patios the patio cleaner accessory head is excellent & the dirt blaster head is a bit brutal but very effective for where the round cleaner head misses so worth looking at bundle offers https://www.karcheroutlet.co.uk/products/subcat.asp?mID=Pressure-Washers&sID=Bundles if these might be of use. We wouldn't spend too much on any make or model of pressure washer as not aware of any being particularly durable & have found the basic models powerful enough for most applications especially when used with the accessories too.

I’ve just bought a Stanley, on offer at B@Q £80. Perfect for what I require, including the Motorhome, x

I bought a refurbished K4 from the outlet store 3 years ago and it's been grand.

Kranzle are the best!

Karcher were very good a few years ago but now sell on the name and definitely not the quality.
I totally agree. I'm on with my 3rd in15 months. Plastic trash. The other two took fire. As usual Karcher hadn't had that happen before. Rubbish as a lot of people I know have had motor fires and seals burning out. Buy cheap and not a brand name.

Bought a Vax for £60 ½price when they were selling damage box items which they do on a regular basis so worth keeping an eye on their site.
Arrived with a label saying damaged box stuck on a perfect box.
Works well better than the Hobby we had before.

Another vote for K5, had many others in the past, this is the best and longest lasting by far that I’ve used

Also has my vote! Our K5 has just expired after 9 years of hard work so I'm perfectly comfortable in getting a new K5 again :giggle:

Wow.. lots of leads to follow up, many thanks all.

We have spoken about a pressure washer and wondered about one that can suck from a tank rather than having to be connected to a main water supply.

Agree, my old Karcher is a teenager now and still going strong. I don't know what I’d replace it with when it eventually gives up.

Nilfiisk......Karcher quality has plummeted imo especially if subject to reasonable/ hard use, 3 failed under guarantee

Have to agree with Idberr and Reallyretired been through several Karchers - jet - steam - window vac all failed. Since bought Nilfisk, completely different animal quality wise.

The rotary paving/decking washer that came with my Karcher is a brilliant attachment. I have a fair bit of block paving and it made an excellent and simple task.

As most things the ones that are years old will last the new models dont seem to last the same a bit like some motorhomes. Bill

I asked the salesman in the DIY shop in France. He said always get one with a brass pump and sold me a Nilfisk. Had it 3 years been great. Was about 50 or 60€

Another vote for Nilfisk. It has lasted 7 years and the patio cleaner tool is excellent.

Looks like you've got plenty of options but if you want another, I've had this

<Broken link removed>

for a good few years and worked it hard on MTB's, the car and clearing footpaths.
