5 years, feel free to ask me about the Carado!!
The Swift Escape 604 !

I like the plastic body work but not the layout and 4 words ruled it out for me, FIAT low profile chassis... I would have probably ripped the arse end off that baby on several Norwegian ferries, a car park in Portugal and possibly the ferry from Largs......:Eeek:

How can they give an award to a virtually unused motor caravan ? Once had a new truck that was awarded Truck of the year by some journalists ,,,,Nice enough to drive but very unreliable and expensive to own,,BUSBY.

On and off for many years.
I'd bang my head everytime I stood up on those cupboards in the U shaped lounge!

The thing is people will be duped into buying it though, especially newbies with no motorhome experience.

Wish they could get some of us from here reviewing some of these vans and giving awards out.

Unusable kitchen, no preparation space as the hob is too big and in the wrong place.
Also why go on about not having a small electric motor for the bed to reduce off grid power consumption and fit a microwave.
Back bed does look bitty and uncomfortable.
Rear end appears all one piece including the bumper, one touch and new back panel.
Sorry once again British designers miss the point.

Too soon to give an untested van van of the year. It was about 2007 when MMM mag gave the new Fiat X250 cab of the year and we all know about juddergate,it took till 2009 for Fiat to get it sorted.

It’s a good thing that we all have different opinions on what makes a good motorhome layout, otherwise we would all buy the same model.

Sorry swift won't be bothering your stand at the NEC this year.
I can see why people change motorhomes so many times before getting the one they like.
On first look and publicity bluff they look lovely, but scratch the surface and you see problems with living in these designs.

We like a rear u shaped lounge, but that one looks tiny & consequentially the '' double bed '' would be far too small for us to be comfortable in.
