    Hi everyone,

I am in the processes of upgrading my towed, from a Smart to a 4 seater for social reasons. However I am a little concerned on the fact that most bigger cars have powered steering, obviously whilst being towed this is not in operation does this cause a problem whilst on an A frame, i.e. the steering will not follow when pulled to one side using the shopping trolley principle. Can anyone advise ??

I tow a KA which has power steering - there are very few cars which do not have power steering:Smile:

    Hi,

neat trick on another forum although you do need a reversing camera or someone watching from rear window.
White tape over steering wheel at top dead centre which should allow you to track steering wheel movement as you corner.
I have a seicento that has unusual electric PAS, never had any problems, car steers fine using above method.

Good trick that. I have a Micra never had any problems with toad following the MH, I would worry if it didn't. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
