We are about to set off for Europe for a couple of months. We usually take 2 x 13kg lpg but can't get any at the moment. So, have decided to change the fridge from a 3-way to compressor all 12v electric. I've ordered an Isotherm 85. The blurb says it uses 368w per 24 hours. I don't know how to work out if the 135 solar panel and the 150 battery will handle it. Any advice please?

It will also depend on what else you are using your12 v electric for. And as said you are reliant on solar if you are not moving.
Is your LPG non refillable? At 35 amps you will need 7 hrs of sunshine producing 5 Amps/ hr through your panel to replace the loss.each day.

Thank you pappajohn. That is very reassuring. We thought it would be ok but had a hang-up in the middle of the night - as you do ;) We are planning to find hook ups if the weather is unkind - it better not be though, or I shall have words with the management.

Not much, phone charging, loo flushing and lighting. No, our LPG won't be refillable in Spain but hoping that we won't need to if we take the fridge usage out of the equation. We do have 1 x 13kg which should be ample for a bit of cooking. Thanks
