It's a lot easier than previous forum using links from photobucket

Never leave a campsite with your clothes line tied to a lamp post.
Well it took lots of messing about to resize the photo so that it was accepted but we finally made it so its a big hello from the Tinca's

One year. A whole one!
Won't upload from my iPad as all my photos appear larger than 1MB.

But as I use Photobucket, this isn't really a problem.

Sussed it!

I can post a pic taken on my ipad with no trouble. However, pics taken originally on my camera don't load as they are too big. Can't be bothered with faffing about with software to resize.

It auto-resized the pic I uploaded with my phone, I'll look into it.

I still havent found an easy way to shrink the photos on my ipad to <1Gb so i can upload direct. I can do it if I email the photos to myself then re-save them, but what a faff! None of the photo editing siftware apps Ive looked at offer a simple way of reducuing file size either.good job Ive kept a couple of laptops and the main house server PC. They are all on borrowed time though as they are all running XP.

Try doing the way I did. Upload to an album via media (you can add pics up to 3gb) then click the camera icon and your pics will show below. Just click on the one you want to add to your post and hey presto it's there. To see your post complete click on preview under More Options. No need to shrink your pic.

Brilliant!
Thanks Keith.

Here's a pic of the place we stayed down on the edge of the Sahara at Auberge du Sud. We were parked by the walls of the hotel which looks like a Foreign Legion fort in Beau Geste.
We had the use of all the hotel facilities including the pool for 50dh (£4) per night including EHU
All the hotel guests went out during the day on camel trips or 4x4 expeditions so we had the place to ourselves.
