Hi Funsters,
after the work of getting our motorhome into the shape we want it to be in, we have the 'bug' to get out and use it now, yes into the winter we go.::bigsmile:

We are looking for recommendations for sites in the South West so we can use our motorhome, in anger for the first time,,,,, and then - from then on. We would like sites with a hook-up (to get used to this part) some good local walks, cycling areas, can take our old dog, and within screaming distance (100 miles) of Weston Super Mare where we live. Once we get used to our new (to us) first mototrhome we will then start going further, and further, hopefully.:thumb:
Any and all recommendations will be greatly appreciated.
Regards

Trikeman.::bigsmile:

4 and many as a tugger
We have booked Easwell Farm one of the Woolacombe Bay sites. It has only cost £36 with hooh up for the week. From now untill half term it is as little as £36 a week.
Plenty to do around Woolacombe and Ilfracombe.

Hi Beerdrinker,

I've just had a look and I think the £136 is for a static van on their Twitchen site.

I have done a search for touring at Easwell and been offered 7 days for £36 or 4 nights for £18 so will be talking to SWMBO to see if she fancies a few days away soon

Hi All,
Many thanks for the sites so far, they look great. Any more?
Now that I have changed the cam belt, pump belt, tension idlers and every other belt, oil, new MOT etc etc, looks like next weekend it is,,,,,,, our first real get away in the motorhome, Connie.
Do you get all excited and a tad 'can't wait for the week to disappear?

Anyway, keep them coming as we may do a bit of touring down South. Hopefully kicking off in Woolacombe as we like that area (except for my re-occuring nightmares of a stag do there in a log cabin):roflmto::Blush:

Again, thanks for the info so far.

Regards

Trikeman. ::bigsmile:
