Me neither, quite like the idea of the boat trip but would like that one next to Easter, hopefully better weather. The other one sounds good to me also

I think, but could be wrong, that we are all thinking of two meets. I very much like the idea of one the weekend before Chester so I can stay up there the week and explore a bit

What week is Chester?

Chester is the Easter weekend, normally a big Funster gathering there. I went this year for the first time and it was brilliant

this is the new site jim has set up for solo's.. don't think you have to be a member of fun to be on it and I don't know the procedure for joining yet, but if you join fun you will get to know all about it..

A couple of us have been discussing this on the new solo site, How does the 10th April suit for a meet? which is the week after Chester.

In that case Easter Sunday I shall visit a Wetherspoons (2 in Chester) for my Sunday lunch, then retire to The Boot to have 1 or 2 glasses of their £1.80 a pint beer. If anyone does Chester as well you're more than welcome to join me.

All votes so far are for marina. I've just found out that the marina site may not be able to accommodate large numbers in April if we leave it too late as the site fills up quickly so it's better we book it sooner rather than later. I suggest when we reach 8 we all book and anyone else will have to book and hope they can get others to share a 2nd boat with. Any other suggestions?

Hopefully as this will be one of many next year it shouldn't be a problem
