Posiflow water pump repair (1 Viewer)

I have a Posiflow water pump, model no 3000-151 20psi, which are no longer manufactured and I want to replace the diaprhagm. I understand that the Shurflow pump is of similar design but not sure which diaphragm repair kit I need. Does anyone know which one I should order and provide possible link please.

Hi Clyde. Obvious question, but wouldn't it be easier and cheaper (in the longer term, given there are other items with wear) just to replace the elderly pump with one that isn't obsolete? e.g. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SHURFLO-T...i-10-6L-min-12volt-2095-403-443-/171025494018

OK, around £40 more to spend than on a diaphragm kit, but at least it would be new

I don't think "similar designs" will be close enough to use as a replacement, will a strip and clean sort yours or is the diaphragm damaged.

hya both - I,ve already got a new Shurflo but was thinking of using this as a spare. Haven't bothered having a real good look at it yet but was having problems with it "surging" and assumed diaphragm may have been worn.

Understood Clyde. In the past I have cut new membranes/diaphragms for fuel pumps for small engines, but mixed results. Hopefully someone here can give you an answer
