Hi All just wanted some advise we are thinking of going to Portugal next year in february get away for the winter can anyone advise on good campsites
around the algarve or almeria area preferably near a town and the coast.

Almeria is a long way from Portugal! We have stayed many times at Los Escullos.
Portugal Ria Formosa at Cabanas de Tavira.

Portugal can be very wet and windy, thought of Costa del Sol, much more reliable weatherwize IMHO

That depends very much where you are in Portugal, the Eastern Algarve is very much like the Costa del Sol.

This is a nice aire on the edge of town, it's either 6 or 9 euro a night depending when you go.
