Hi funsters thinking of going to Portugal sept for 6 weeks what is the weather like then

I would rather be there than here. Weather always better.

Do you all DRIVE YOUR MOTORHOMES there? Is it an easy drive?

It's very easy if you do the Spain ferry. Brilliant roads all the way from the port.

More laborious if you go via France of course.

630 miles Santander to Faro.
530 miles to Benidorm.

Go for it Joy.

I would say that September is probably the BEST month to go. Temperatures are great, the sea is warm, everything is open and the crowds have gone.

As stated above, ferry to Northern Spain is the way to go and a couple of (longish) days driving - that's assuming you're heading to the Algarve of course..

We have driven all the way. Not to bad on the way there. But got colder each day on the way back. My better half makes me use the ferries to Spain and back. It gives us a few more days in Portugal that way. And she stays warm. Are you going over movan

There are only four and a bit weeks in September.???

We go to an apartment in Vilamoura every year in the first two weeks in September. It's hot but not unbearable. We love it. Going again this year.

thanks guys sold to me
