Looking into returning to Spain this year. Looking for an overnight stay near the Portsmouth port.
Any help appreciated. Thank you.

Port Solent only a couple of minutes up the road. Free to park, ring when you arrive and they take reg number.

As above, perfect place to stop. You then drop down straight onto the motorway to the port. Make sure you use the sat nav location as you may get mixed up with another large complex nearby who do not allow MH to park up

We only live 15 mins away but often stop off on the way back from our trips away for a walk and lunch.

You can park up along the sea wall south of the lock gates as well down towards the Naval Fire School. Theres a convenient roundabout at the end too. There are sleeping policemen along the road so don't go belting along there! The most vicious one is as you approach the roundabout by the turning for the local tip.

If you are catching an early ferry you can park in the port terminal after 10 pm when last ferry has departed. You park near the car park . That is what we going to do in January
