Many years ago I fitted one in my caravan.

It worked fine and gave out plenty of heat
However they do give out moisture as the gas burns, so maybe not a good idea nowadays when you can get heaters that exhaust to the exterior.

A Woosh bang
As previous poster, had one in a caravan.. great heat and don't give off CO2 .

One benefit, if your off ehu it's not using any power off the leisure battery..

Before buying motorhome we had several yachts. Installed a catalytic heater in the last two and they were brilliant. Only problem was the doom & gloomsters warning of the gases given off. Have a look on the yachtie sites, there are two models, a midi and a mini, amongst others. Can definitely reccommend them. Used to cost about ÂŁ120ish. Just make sure you keep the van well ventilated. You will find that the heat given off for the small amount of gas used is amazing.
