Port Solent Overnight (1 Viewer)

Has anyone stayed at Port Solent recently, before catching the morning ferry from Portsmouth? It's a good location but I heard they were trying to stop over-nighting.

I under stand that you can stay at the Brittany ferry terminal and you are there ready for the morning ferry

Found this (port solent) as a place listed on park 4 night.
Looks plenty big enough:

It's very near a wetherspoons too. Anyone stayed the night?

Yes I have stayed there once but quite a few years ago.
We always nearly always stayed at the port overnight ready for the ferry next morning. Just arrive late on and park by the fence. Security might come and check but you will be OK.
