Make your own bowl liner by criss crossing sheets of loo paper, much cheaper!

Does white vinegar have any detrimental effect on plastic?

Was reluctant to use any chemical detergent on my discoloured bowl then heard toothpaste brings the whiteness back. It works!

Yaaaaaaaaaay for happy bowls!!!!

Also for Elsan Organic - I have a mild perfume aversion, so most of the recommendations on here are a no go. Elsan Organic has no smell and keeps the bowl clean (as a plus for some, it's also safe for sceptic tanks). After each trip, I use a 'no bleach' bathroom cleaner & hot water on all if it (I'm probably not as good a shot as I think I am) :)

It does amaze me that people spend thousands on their motorhome hobby & then try to save a few coppers on keeping the toilet clean!!

Or maybe they've discovered products that actually work, which are not as expensive as those which don't. ;)

Cheers,

Jock. ;)

You poor people, scrubbing your plastic bowls with baby wipes, toothbrushes or WD 40. If only you’d bought a Motorhome with a proper porcelain bowl.

I must be doing something wrong then, got a porcelain bowl but I don’t think it knows, like sh*t to a blanket mate, they say you can’t polish a turd, that’s a pity, it would no doubt help!(n):eek:(y)

our toilet gets polished

Some years back when we had an AutoSleeper we spent the weekend with the club at Shoreham airfield, we saw the chap who flew with his ducks alongside not to mention the marvelous airshow, the highlight for me however was the Sunday evening crossing the airstrip not allowed until the flying was over, so at 8pm all the men formed in singlefile Porta-potties in tow leader upfront complete with gettoblaster on shoulder, they marched along to the Dambusters March, while the wives waved them off across to the soil dump,

thanks for the memory. :crying1:
